Candice McGlen

Candice McGlen fearlessly questions the status quo in order to develop and implement high-impact HR and talent management solutions.

Her probing approach is based on the start of her career where she worked in social activism and organizing for various non-governmental organizations that were adept at overcoming obstacles by sidestepping conventional norms in favor of fresh, action-oriented thinking. When she began the second part of her career in human resources over ten years ago, Candice McGlen maintained the lens of social impact to apply to the various facets of HR. McGlen regularly conducts training workshops on how the principles, values, and techniques found in social impact organizations can be implemented within corporations to create a dynamic culture of employee engagement.

 Not one to sit still, McGlen is the author of Engage Us Now!, a writer and contributor to the Forbes Human Resources Council, and a leader in talent development organizations such as the Association of Talent Development (ATD) Houston.

In her work as a talent strategy consultant, McGlen has helped numerous for-profit and nonprofit organizations of varying sizes achieve extraordinary results. Her areas of expertise include learning and development, talent acquisition, diversity, equity and inclusion, design thinking, and conflict resolution.
